The force is strong for Jedi Jim as Gavin’s leadership defies Logic!

Jedi Jim Eastwood from The Apprentice

From early on in last night’s The Apprentice, things really didn’t look too good for Team Logic project manager, Gavin; “Guys, I’m going to make a decision – but collectively, do we think it’s the right one?” Oh dear!

“This is all about courage” said Lord Sugar as the show started.

“If not, we’ve all got to keep crying, um, I mean trying” said Gavin, when finding 10 items for The Savoy was looking more and more difficult.

Meanwhile, the Force was strong for Jedi Jim Eastwood and Susan’s Team Venture as he used his legendary mind tricks to negotiate. “It’s only your smile that’s done it!” exclaimed the woman in the light shop as Jim clinched the deal (and the woman in the light shop).

Another – unexpected – winner last night was Top Hat Cleaners in Chiswick, trending on Twitter after Gavin, in desperation, had rushed in to ask them if they sold top hats. No, we’re just a dry cleaners, came the response. No doubt owner Mike Moran is absolutely delighted with his sudden social media profile!

Great fun – and at least we all know what a cloche is now!
