New website is a must for music lovers in Newark

La Cenerentola (Cinderella) - just one of the events in Newark Music Club's new season

Music lovers in the Newark area are in for a real treat with the launch of Newark Music Club’s new website. The site – – has been developed by Activ Web Design and gives details of the club’s season of six wonderful concerts, to be held at The Palace Theatre in Newark.

These concerts feature world-class musicians, including:

  • Alessandro Taverna – award-winning pianist from Venice
  • Craig Ogden (Guitar) Judith Hall (Flute) – lively and intriguing music
  • London Opera Productions presents La Cenerentola (Cinderella) – a festive treat for the whole family
  • The Square on The Hippopotamus featuring Mark Kesel (Trumpet) with Ian Wesley (Piano) – fun with the trumpet and other brass instruments
  • The Piatti String Quartet – UK’s leading string quartet
  • The Fibonacci Sequence – one of Britain’s foremost chamber ensembles

The new website also gives provides of membership of the Newark Music Club and its exciting new scheme to engage young musicians. This great initiative aims to involve children of all age groups and abilities in making and celebrating music together.
