Are you too busy for #socialmedia?

Too busy flying around to find a smarter way to fly?

Are you too busy doing things to find a better way to do things?

It seems a lot of business owners are. A recent survey reveals that nearly 80% of business executives believe that social media marketing is essential for business success. So how come only 47% of them are actually using social media?

After all, it’s well established that social media creates a real buzz and excitement around brands. And it’s also a given that social media drives traffic to websites, generates new sales and, ultimately, grows profits.

So, business owners understand the importance of social media and know they should be doing it, yet they still aren’t! Why? Well, it seems that lack of time is the problem. Or at least the perceived problem.

The business owners that I meet and work with in the Newark and Grantham areas work very hard to achieve their success. Making additional time for social media marketing isn’t easy. And some are put off by the belief that social media is complicated as well. Well, although a social media marketing campaign can be time-consuming, you can easily keep on top of things in only 10 minutes a day.

Whether businesses choose to do it themselves or appoint a social media manager like me to make life easier, the fact is social media is just too important to ignore. However busy you are!
